Description: Unlike our competitors, the Actatek allows for 4 different "levels" of users.

  • Personal User - a normal user that is allowed to view attendance info and personal settings
  • User Administrator - a user that is permitted to manage users, triggers and similar settings
  • Network Administrator - a user, possible IT staff, with permission to manage networking settings of the unit
  • Super Administrator - this user level allows the user to configure all settings and users

Description: It is understandable that access control must allow for the special circumstance that must allow or deny access to the secured area. To address this, the Actatek unit has a calendar that allows the administrator to easily define these circumstances

Image: Actatek Terminal Setup Page

Description: Configuration of the unit, not it's users, is mainly performed from this page. Network preferences, fingerprint related options and other system specific items are contained here. Anyone with networking experience will find this page very easy to understand and configure.

Image: Actatek Terminal Clock Page

Description: Detailed access logs and auditing can only be performed if the system time is correct. The Actatek unit can be easily configured to use any standard SNTP server, or time server, to reliably synchronize the internal date and time to the second.

Image: Actatek Download Report Page

Description: The access logs can be downloaded from this page. Users can download all the detailed information from the logs as a simple text file or a Microsoft Excel compatible spreadsheet file.
